Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to own our financial day-to-day. You’ll manage books across 9 entities in QuickBooks Online, run payroll via Viventium, and take charge of accounts payable while helping roll out a procurement platform (Precoro or similar). This is a solo but highly impactful role reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with our Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
· Bookkeeping (QBO)
- Manage and reconcile financial transactions using class/dept tracking
- Maintain clean, accurate monthly records.
- Support budgeting, reporting, and analysis requests
- Payroll (Viventium)
- Process bi-weekly payroll for ~60 employees
- Handle payroll compliance, deductions, and multi-state (minor) considerations
- Collaborate with HR for new hire/payroll updates
- Accounts Payable
- Manage AP and invoices
- Handle vendor setup, correspondence, and payment cycles
- Assist with procurement system (Precoro or similar) rollout
- Help standardize purchasing across multiple locations
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Familiarity with payroll systems (Viventium a plus)
- Organized, proactive, and detail-driven
- Comfortable taking ownership in a growing company
Work Details
Hours: Standard (9–5 or 10–6)
Reports to: CEO
Salary: $50k–$60k depending on experience
