Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to own our financial day-to-day. You’ll manage books across 9 entities in QuickBooks Online, run payroll via Viventium, and take charge of accounts payable while helping roll out a procurement platform (Precoro or similar). This is a solo but highly impactful role reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with our Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities

· Bookkeeping (QBO)

  • Manage and reconcile financial transactions using class/dept tracking
  • Maintain clean, accurate monthly records.
  • Support budgeting, reporting, and analysis requests
  • Payroll (Viventium)
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for ~60 employees
  • Handle payroll compliance, deductions, and multi-state (minor) considerations
  • Collaborate with HR for new hire/payroll updates
  • Accounts Payable
  • Manage AP and invoices
  • Handle vendor setup, correspondence, and payment cycles
  • Assist with procurement system (Precoro or similar) rollout
  • Help standardize purchasing across multiple locations

Requirements

- 2–3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience

- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online

- Familiarity with payroll systems (Viventium a plus)

- Organized, proactive, and detail-driven

- Comfortable taking ownership in a growing company
 

Work Details

Hours: Standard (9–5 or 10–6)

Reports to: CEO

Salary: $50k–$60k depending on experience
